Bovver Boot Charms
β οΈ Warning : This post may divide opinion - Let's hear it for boot charms π€π₯Ύπ₯Ύ
Some people are horrified at the thought of ruining the timeless beauty of a lace up boot by dangling charms at the back, others regard them as the ultimate feel-good accessory.
According to the internet π«€π ..... The term Bovver boots was coined in the 1970's, to describe a stout lace up boot, especially Dr Marten's, that was associated with violence. Such boots are generally of sturdy design and may be steel-toed. They have been considered as offensive weapons used by hooligans for kicking opponents while street fighting, popular with skinheads or other troublemakers out looking for bovver. ππ€£
